  • it is produced by cold temperature;
  • it is perfect localized;
  • its length is a couple of minutes.

 

- it is localized:

  • to one tooth which has been recently polished (2-6 days ago);
  • to one tooth which has been recently treated (3-4 days ago).

 

  • -it is very strong ,alive, and produced by cold -(at the very beginning) and produced by heat-(later);
  • -its length is from minutes to hours;
  • -it has the character of a painful crisis (start spontaneously), especially in the evening and the night (during the sleep).

  • it is violent, very hard tolerated;
  • is produced VIOLENTLY by the cold temperature,or, the sweet taste,or ,the sour taste,or, in the moment of mastication on the tooth;
  • when the ache is at the maximum level of intensity, you cannot specify anymore which one is the badtooth.

  • it irradiates to the neighbour teeth (in the same area);
  • it irradiates to the neck or/and , to the nape ;

  • it irradiates to the temples;
  • it irradiates to the eyes.

 

  • it irradiates to the opposite jaw .

  • it starts suddenly especially in the night (during the sleep) ;
  • its length is a couple of hours;
  • it is very precisely localized at the beginning (you know perfect the painful tooth ),and then ,in the measure which its intensity is raising ,it irradiates to the other teeth and become very hard localized.

 

  • it has a pulsating character .

 

  • it is intensified by the warmness of the pillow.

  • the warm aliments or liquids intensify it .

  • it is intensified by the horizontal position of the body.

 

  • it is spontaneous (start suddenly ) and is very strong, almost continue ( it is almost permanent).

  • the drugs as Nurofen, Aspirin, (or similar analgesics),or ,applications of topical analgesics DON'T help.

  • the tooth is sensitive (it hurts just a little bit) when you "hammer" on its top (not from its side).

  • the pain stops for one second when you chew on the tooth ;
  • somewhere within the last two weeks,you've got a root-canal treatment at the tooth (the doctor used needles inside the tooth-canal), .

  • the pain starts suddenly when you touch the tooth ;
  • the pain's length is 1 or 2 days.

  • it starts "from the nowhere" and rise in intensity gradually or, is very intense from the beginning.

  • there is a swelling of gingiva (small or big), which hurts to pressure.

  • you feel the tooth as a "longer" one (than usual).

  • you feel sick.

  • you have fever and/or,trembles.

  • the tooth is movable .

  • the tooth is painful when you chew on him ( moderate).

  • you do have a limitation of "the mouth opening"(you cannot open the mouth at the maximum).

  • your mouth is filled with a lot of saliva.

  • your mouth give off a bad smell (stench)="bad smelling mouth"".

  • you have gingival bleedings without reason;
  • the pain gain intensity when you eat condiments like chili peppers,pepper,etc.;
  • you feel "metallic taste";
  • you feel "unpleasant taste";
  • you feel intense pain at the touch of the gingiva;
  • you have spontaneous crises of pain all day long.

  • you have gingival bleedings , at brushing and/or, at mastication;
  • you feel an easy pain when you brush your teeth;
  • you feel an easy pain at sour .

  • you feel rash or, tension,or, smarting pain, on the gingiva,on the tongue or ,the inside part of the cheeks or the lip .

  • you know there is a cavity in the area that hurts you.

  • the pain is localized within an area where a tooth extraction happened ( few days ago).

  • the pain is raising its intensity at trembles ;
  • you have the sensation of"bad permanent smell ";
  • the pain irradiates to the forehead.
  • you feel tension inside the cheek (and nowhere else) .

  • the pain starts as a flashing crisis (very abrupt);
  • there is a painful-tic on the affected side ("gathering") of the face, in the moment of the pain arrival ;
  • the eye on the affected side is tearful;
  • there is an area on the face, which can unleash a painful crisis when is touched ;
  • there is perspiration on the affected side of the face .
